Spanning an impressive 149,500 square feet, this facility stands as the largest business aviation MRO centre in Malaysia. It exceeds the footprint of ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia's previous facility by more than twofold and is equipped to serve business jet operators from across Asia. Certified by regional authorities, as well as European and US regulators, the facility currently employs 84 personnel, a number set to increase to 100 by the year's end, with further expansion planned over the next five years.
In addition to its support for aircraft from various manufacturers, the site holds strategic importance within Dassault's global support network, complementing ExecuJet's extensive MRO capabilities at Dubai’s Al Maktoum airport. Furthermore, the company is actively developing a new MRO facility in the state of Florida, USA.
The newly constructed hangar has the capacity to concurrently house up to 15 medium and large business jets, including the latest Falcon 6X and the upcoming Falcon 10X. It is equipped with workshops, storage facilities, office spaces for both staff and clients, training rooms, and designated rest areas.
ExecuJet MRO Services prioritizes substantial investments in internationally accredited training programs for its workforce. This commitment enables them to conduct both line and heavy maintenance tasks on Falcon, Bombardier, and Gulfstream aircraft, which are registered with regional civil aviation authorities, as well as the FAA and EASA. To support these endeavours and to facilitate workforce expansion, the facility features newly developed training facilities at Subang.
Within the context of the Subang Airport Regeneration Plan (SARP), the ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia facility represents a significant milestone among several ongoing development initiatives. Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad views this project as pivotal in advancing the business aviation sector within the SARP framework. With aspirations to elevate Subang Airport into a prominent regional hub for business aviation, the SARP program managers consider this development as a crucial stride forward.
