According to Planespotters.net, Air New Zealand has nine Boeing 777-300ERs in its fleet. This includes the newly leased ZK-OKV, which arrived this month and previously flew with Cathay Pacific under the registration B-KQD since February 2013.

The Boeing 777-300ER, a high-capacity aircraft with 368 seats, will take over the NZ095/4 flight to Narita, operating three times weekly from October 27th to March 29th, as reported by Aeroroutes. The oldest aircraft in this fleet, ZK-OKM, joined Air New Zealand in December 2010 and accommodates 342 passengers, divided into 244 economy, 54 premium economy, and 44 business class seats.

Recently, these twinjets have been seen in various locations including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Apia, Avarua, Sydney, Brisbane, and Singapore. They operate from Air New Zealand’s base in Auckland. The 777-300ERs will also replace the daily NZ099/090 flights to Narita. Currently, the airline operates 14 Boeing 787-9s, with 12 actively flying. The newest, ZK-NZR, was leased in October 2019, and the oldest, ZK-NZE, was delivered in June 2014. These aircraft have a seating capacity for 302 passengers, with 263 in economy, 21 in premium economy, and 18 in business class. They service routes to destinations such as Denpasar, Vancouver, Papeete, Apia, Nadi, Tongatapu, Brisbane, Perth, and Hong Kong.

Data from Cirium indicates that Air New Zealand will operate 86 flights and offer 30,088 seats each way in November. This period will be particularly busy for the airline’s 777-300ERs following the complete transition at the end of October.
