Tragedy in the Skies: Singapore Airlines Flight SQ321’s Encounter with Severe Turbulence

According to media reports, In the early hours of Monday, a routine flight from London Heathrow to Singapore turned into a harrowing ordeal for the passengers and crew of Singapore Airlines Flight SQ321. The Boeing 777-300ER was struck by severe turbulence, leading to a tragic fatality and multiple injuries.

The flight, which had departed from London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR), was en route to Singapore when it encountered unexpected clear air turbulence. The phenomenon, often unpredictable and invisible to radar, can occur even in clear skies and is a known hazard for aviation.
