The fifth-busiest business aviation gateway in the UK, London Oxford Airport, now offers sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for purchase. The Neste-produced SAF is supplied by World Fuel Services and comes in 30% and a less expensive 10% mix. The airport announced that a number of its local Formula One racing teams had advocated for the fuel's availability. While the new tenant OXCCU, an Oxford University spin-off, is getting ready to start its on-field SAF factory in August, Neste SAF is being supplied in 34,000-liter batches from its facilities in Ghent, Belgium. OXCCU will use energy to turn atmospheric carbon dioxide and hydrogen into synthetic aviation fuel using second-generation e-SAF power-to-liquid technology.

After that, the airframer will launch its new UK headquarters in September, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Airbus Helicopters in the UK. The new headquarters will be comprised of 66,000 square feet of hangar space and 59,000 square feet of offices and workshops. Additionally, seven helipads specifically designed to accommodate the biggest rotorcraft will be part of the £50 million complex.
